Arriving by train

Zurich's main railway station is located in the city center, not far from the ETH Zurich main campus and the ECC13 conference venue. There are several ways to get from the train station to ETH Zurich ...

Public Transportation

A ZVV card for Zones 10 and 21 is included in the conference registration package. This card is valid for local public transportation between the airport and the city centre, and within the city centre from July 17 – 20, 2013 inclusive. In addition, Zurich Cards are available train station's information centre (located at street level in the main hall), which give you unlimited travel for your choice of 24 or 72 hours, plus free entrance to most of the city's museums. You may also purchase regular tickets at the machines located at tram and bus stops. If you have already purchased a train ticket at the airport, you do not need to purchase another ticket to continue your journey, as it is valid for travel within the city as well. Visit the ZVV website for details on tram and bus service within the city.
